    How it works

    From two documents to one clear redline

      Align

      Both documents are split into words, lines or characters and lined up against each other, so every passage is matched with its closest counterpart in the other version.

    2. 2

      Cancel

      Passages that are identical in both versions cancel out and fade to grey. Whatever stays dark is the only part of the text you actually need to review.

    3. 3

      Light up

      Insertions glow indigo and deletions appear in coral with a strikethrough. The counts, similarity score and change list are then calculated straight from these highlights.

    SERVICES AGREEMENT 1. Services. The Provider will deliver the consulting services described in Schedule A to the Client. 2. Payment. The Client shall pay each invoice within 30 45 days of receipt. Late payments accrue interest at 1% 1.5% per month. 3. Confidentiality.     Is my file uploaded?

    No. Text, TXT, MD, HTML, JSON, CSV, SRT and VTT files are read and compared inside your browser and never leave your device. Only PDFs are sent to a text-extraction service, and only when you add one.

    Which formats can I compare?

    Paste text or add TXT, MD, HTML, JSON, CSV, SRT, VTT or PDF files, up to 2 MB and 200,000 characters each. HTML is stripped to its visible text. Word files should be pasted or saved as PDF first.

    How is similarity calculated?

    Similarity is twice the number of matching units divided by the total units in both documents. Units are words, lines or characters depending on the mode. 100% appears only when nothing differs.

    Can it compare PDFs?

    Yes, if the PDF has a text layer. The text is extracted and compared like any other document. Scanned images without a text layer return no text, and layout, tables and images are not compared.

    Word mode or line mode?

    Word mode finds small edits inside sentences, which suits contracts and papers. Line mode is faster and better for code, CSV and subtitles. Character mode catches typos and number changes.
