    How it works

    1

    Enter your URL

Paste the public address of the page you want to audit. The protocol is added for you, and the page is fetched server-side so nothing runs in your browser.

    2
    VS

Pick a challenger or the Ideal ghost

Add a rival URL to see who wins each tag, or leave the Ideal Page toggle on to compare against a reference page with every core tag in place.

    3

Read the rounds and copy the fixes

Every tag is scored pass, warn or fail with its pixel width. Winners light up, missing tags come with a snippet, and you can export the whole report.

    Frequently asked questions

What meta tags matter for SEO?

The title and meta description shape your search snippet, the canonical tag prevents duplicate-content confusion, and robots controls indexing. Open Graph and Twitter tags control how links look when shared, and the viewport tag supports mobile rendering.

Why is my title cut off in Google?

Google truncates by pixel width, not characters. Titles wider than about 580px on desktop are usually shortened, so wide letters such as W or M use up room faster. This is a common guideline, not a guarantee.

Why doesn't my og:image show on LinkedIn?

Usually the og:image tag is missing, the URL is not absolute or public, or the platform cached an older version. Use an absolute https URL, around 1200 by 630 pixels, then re-scrape the link with the platform's inspector.

Can I check pages behind a login?

No. The checker fetches public http(s) pages on a server, so it only sees what an anonymous visitor sees. Pages that require sign-in will return the login page's tags instead.

    Is the data stored?

Nothing is stored by this page. Results live in your browser tab until you close or reset it. Reports are generated locally as downloads when you choose to export them.
